How auxmoney demonstrates its expertise in content marketing

The Challenge
auxmoney is a digital lending platform for private consumers that improves access to loans while reducing associated costs. auxmoney aims to position itself as the go-to brand for lending services. By providing free content, the aim is to raise awareness among German consumers to the topic of ‘borrowing’.
Our Approach
A large-scale study to analyze the financial situation of German households in the context of the energy crisis and inflation, to shed more light on trends in consumer behavior and thus create points of contact with the lending sector. The visual presentation of concise core statements from the study – for use on a variety of channels including social media and newsletters – is designed to generate maximum attention for the study.
Data for the study was collected by our market research experts through a representative online survey. Our editors and graphic designers then presented the results of this study as follows:
- Analysis and content production in the form of a 25-page report
- Focus on three core marketing themes, presented in three infographics and several custom social media graphics
- Production of an animated video for social media showing key findings from the report
Following its publication, the study was promoted with the following advertising materials:
- Sending of a stand-alone mailing that picks up on content of the study
- Placement of native ads in Statista's editorial newsletter

The Outcome
Thanks to the study and the insights it provides, auxmoney has its finger on the pulse and offers consumers in Germany the opportunity to assess and compare their financial situation. At the same time, the company demonstrates its financial expertise and builds trust with readers.
- The standalone mailing generated an open rate of 24.5% and a click rate of 4% among the approximately 68,000 recipients.
- The content ads in Statista's editorial newsletter ‘Daily Data’ achieved an open rate of 26.4% with a readership of 215,700 recipients over a 5 week period.
