The challenge

Statista supported Bertelsmann and EMBRACE in the analysis and valuation of milch & zucker, an acquisition target in the HR tech sector. The core business of milch & zucker is the development and operation of a software solution (SaaS) for the applicant management of large companies and public institutions. The company has built up extensive expertise over 20 years, particularly in the intuitive use of job advertisements and application processes. Part of the due diligence was therefore also the evaluation of these skills and data.

Our approach

Through a combination of expert interviews, data analyses and a review of the legal framework, Statista was able to generate valuable insights and create a roadmap for using the HR tech company's extensive data even more effectively in the future. A team of consultants and data scientists from Statista was involved in the project.
