The challenge
Savings banks are caught between increasing regulation, growing customer needs and a shortage of skilled workers.
A transformation project was launched to strengthen the bank's position in a consolidating market environment. This requires a holistic view of the Sparkasse bank to achieve sustainable change.
Our approach
A collaborative approach was chosen to achieve sustainable change from within. Together with the bank's employees and consultants, ambitious goals were developed for the business model, organizational structure, technology landscape (including AI strategy), and portfolio management. To realize the potential, cross-functional teams were formed to bring isolated issues to implementation. Together with communication experts from statista+, a cross-media medium was developed for broad communication throughout the company in order to reach all employees.
The Outcome
We developed an ambitious vision for the entire organization. The collaborative approach enabled the organization to work faster and more effectively in the new model. Together, we took immediate action to make the transformation sustainable.
